There’s really no basis for these localized numbers — the map seems to assume that the trans population falls in the exact same percentage range of the overall population (between 0.3% and 1%) in every single county in the USA — something that’s extremely counter-intuitive. So according to this map, there’s a direct correlation between the overall population of a county and the number of trans people there. So obviously Brooklyn would have the largest number of trans people, since it has the most people of any county in NYC, period.
