Here’s To You, Joe Menino

Has everyone seen the Law & Order with the Asperger’s actuary? I love it; I think it’s my favorite. I can watch it over & over again, & Eames is especially great in it – to Goren: “I didn’t know you had an older, geekier brother.” Goren: “He’s an interesting man.”

Love it.

  1. I like watching Law & Order, but I can’t keep up with who is who. Not enough time to watch TV or at least what I like to watch.

  2. If I had to choose, off the top of my head, the first memorable moment would probably be Eames watching Goren through the window in the interrogation room, interviewing a schizophrenic witness by mimicing his behavior. Deakins walks in, watches for a moment, and says to Eames, “The Goren Show”‘s back in town, I see.” The second varies, but probably the exchange in “Cherry Red”. The criminal is about to get away with his ill-gotten gains (the brand-new, untouched Cherry Red Ferrari). With him in handcuffs, Goren looks at the car, “I think I have to get in.” Pauses for a moment, considers, the “Yes, I have to get in.” right up to Goren revving the engine, Eames: “You have to get out now.” . . . Not that I watch all that much, mind you . . .
