Rush Limbaugh (kinda) apologizes for calling a woman a slut, and does so by explaining that birth control is somehow a conversation about “sexual recreational activities.”
Talk about not getting it. Amazing how arrogant someone who can’t get pregnant can be about birth control.

Peter Gabriel doesn’t want Rush Limbaugh’s radio show to use his music, in the wake of the Sandra Fluke controversy.
On his Facebook page, a note was posted from Gabriel’s reps saying the rocker was “appalled to learn that his music [Sledgehammer] was linked to Rush Limbaugh’s extraordinary attack.”
A group of students asked me over the weekend, “Does Rush Limbaugh seriously not understand how birth control works?” I replied, “Do you think any woman likes Rush Limbaugh enough to explain how her cycle works?”
It was a joke, but I have no doubt that Rush truly is that stupid. What’s worse is that I’m sure he doesn’t care. He’s always struck me as a dangerous combination of stupidity and self-confidence. When I first heard his show in 1991 or thereabouts, I was amazed at how dumb it sounded, and even more amazed when it became a nationwide phenomenon.
