“Once conform, once do what other people do because they do it, and a lethargy steals over all the finer nerves and faculties of the soul. She becomes all outer show and inward emptiness; dull, callous, and indifferent.”

On January 25th, 1882, Virginia Woolf was born. Happy Birthday Mx. Woolf!

  1. Lizzy says:

She has always been one of my heroes, ever since I was old enough to read, and her work was still simple narrative stories to me.

Later as I realized who she was inside, my heart began to bleed for her and how she was trapped in a time and place way too small for her enormous talent and intellect.

Thank you Virginia for being in my life, best you could, with your work and your passion.
