This one actually looks interesting, no?
I looks way above average(fingers crossed)
FORGE bought a copy a month ago and will be screening it at some point this Spring/Summer (in Milwaukee, WI).
This film will be shown in Minneapolis at 4 pm on Wednesday April 18th at the Bell Museum on the campus of the University of Minnesota (10 Church St SE Minneapolis MN 55455).
According to publicity from the University’s LGBTA Program Office, “After the film, a panel discussion will take place with the filmmakers and people in the movie — plus free food!.”
I hope to attend if I can manage it!
I’m glad that I was able to view the film and stick around for the after-viewing chat with the director and a couple of the producers. About 25 people were in the audience as far as I could tell (the room was dark and some people came late or left early). The very human stories of half a dozen or so trans* people at various stages of their lives were both inspiring and heartwarming.
