		<description>I love to think of this playing on an old tube radio in my Grandparents youth, during the time of Magnus Hirschfeld&#039;s Berlin, an era and place of hopefulness for gender variant folk of any sort.  

I might add that there is an additional level to the song when you consider that in chickens (as all birds, some fish, prawns and butterflies/moths) it is the females that carry the XY equivalent (ZW) and therefore determines the sex of the offspring produced and males that carry the XX equiv (ZZ).  Don&#039;t think they knew that back then...</description>
