I think it&#039;s wise of NCTE to put some energy into straightening out executive-branch bureaucratic jams rather than just butt heads in legislatures all the time; not only is there usually less resistance, but such matters end up having a bigger impact on people than many laws do.  Of course, I&#039;m sure the change in administration didn&#039;t hurt.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m excited that the State Department made this very important change in policy. And they don&#039;t require people to go through all sorts of legal hoops to change their Certificate of Birth Abroad like those of us born in California have to go through in order to get our birth certificates changed.

Even though I&#039;m not thrilled that the scum sucking vampires at WPATH were included on that list - I am happy that they were last on that list.</description>
