Do we accept the compromised position we trans have been placed in (non-inclusion) to promote a half-way victory (for teh ghey (with the caveat that I identify as lesbian)) with hopes that our plight will be recognized later? I have heard (gotta love that phrase) that there is possible language restricting bathroom use to those properly documented in the "correct" sex. Do you know anything about that Helen?
In Washington State we have a non-discrimination law already which forbids employment discrimination, but as I've said before, that means they say "you're not a good fit for the company" instead of "you're trans, and that makes us uncomfortable". Hollow victory when you can't legislate honesty.
