But if it prohibits discrimination based on gender identity or expression, doesn&#039;t that cover everyone?  Doesn&#039;t it protect a woman from being fired because her boss thinks she should use more make-up?  Doesn&#039;t it protect the guy who is harassed at work because his co-workers think that real men don&#039;t wear earrings, or pink shirts, or whatever?

These regulations are usually sold as protections for a small beleaguered minority, but I think they actually benefit a much larger segment of the population.</description>
