  1. I’m a bit perplexed at your reaction to the Wisconsin weather. It starts snowing at some point in the fall. It doesn’t all melt at any point. Then it snows intermittantly until some point in the spring. Then it all melts. It’s been doing that for many thousands of years, AFAIK.

You’re not in NYC any more.

  2. apparently people who live here are surpised some too, as they haven’t had a “real” wisconsin winter in a while.

but i’m not amazed. more like impressed.

  3. I cannot help but think how brave you are, and focused, to endure all this for the sake of teaching the younger generation. I’d love to hear how the teaching’s going in another post.

  4. I’ve had Ferron in rotation via my car’s MP3 disk of late, and every time I hear “It’s Snowing in Brooklyn” I think of you and Betty…..

  5. Don’t ya know Wisconsin has nine months of winter and three months of poor sledding… 😉

  6. Just think. You could be teaching in Buffalo. Then, you’d REALLY know about snow!

    I thought Wisconsin had cheese.
