I was drawn to her athletic and masculine trouser-wearing personna depicted in many of her films like 'Pat and Mike' (1952). I don't know when her Jimmy personality emerged, but she did have a brother who died by apparent suicide and was deeply depressed to the point that she took his birthday as her own.
